Ruth earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She has worked for the past couple of decades in the public schools as a school psychologist. She specializes in psychological assessment and in-house psychological services for local school districts. Ruth primarily works out of the Lexington office.

Biographical Info

Dan earned his Ph.D. in School Psychology from Illinois State University and is an associate professor at Eastern Kentucky University. He trained school psychologists for 20 years. In addition, he has taught courses in abnormal psychology, child psychopathology, and infant, child, and adolescent development. Dan has also worked in the public schools for several years as a school psychologist. He specializes in psychological assessment, consultation, behavioral intervention, and counseling. Dan also provides professional workshops on a range of topics including anxiety, ADHD, cyberbullying, technology, telehealth, and adolescents.

Kathie obtained a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. She is also a nationally certified as a school psychologist and has worked in a public school district for nearly 30 years. Kathie has extensive experience assessing children with a wide range of abilities and needs and working with their families. She also is an approved First Steps provider as both a Primary Level Evaluator and Behavioral Interventionist.

Biographical Info

Steffen earned her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Georgia, and completed a BCBA course sequence through Florida Institute of Technology.  She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Kentucky, and a Professor in the Psychology Department at Eastern Kentucky University.  Steffen specializes in the development of functional behavior repertoires in children, adolescents, and young adults including individuals on the Autism Spectrum.   She works out of both the Richmond and Lexington offices, as well as in the home and school settings.
