Kathie Harris, M.S., NCSP

I am certified by the KY Board of Psychological Examiners as a Certified Psychologist and by the KY Department of Education as a school psychologist. I completed my graduate work at Eastern KY University, and my entire career has revolved around work with families and children. Over the years, I have worked as a social worker in southeastern KY, a certified psychologist at a community mental health agency, and as a school psychologist. After retiring from a public school district, I choose to work part-time providing evaluations to area schools and to children (birth to three). I have extensive experiences with children having a range of behaviors and disabilities and always strive to provide young children and their families the tools they need to overcome developmental and/or behavioral challenges.

I truly enjoy working with young children and their families to assist them in understanding their child’s unique needs and provide guidance in enhancing their child’s development. My goal is to provide high quality services to the children, families, and schools I serve. My primary goals are to make each child and family feel comfortable and valued and facilitate new skills and positive outcomes for their child.
